Our Philosophy
We believe our time on Earth is sacred and should be spent doing what we love. We are passionate about our work and our integrity is visible in our creative and in our code. Our founder, Jason Chinn is realizing his dreams and vision. Leading by example, he inspires his team and clients to focus on manifesting vision to reality. He is also a successful photographer who shoots over 20,000 digital images a year.

Jason Chinn
Creative Strategist
Jason is an artist. In college, he focused on printmaking, sculpture, and photography. Starting out his career in traditional print media in 1989, Jason became a master of technical production and computer graphics. At Macromedia, Jason was part of the Dreamweaver 1.0 product development team. It was there, in 1996, that his world opened up to the possibilities of the web. Since then, Jason has created and utilized cutting-edge technology for the design and implementation of many websites in order to provide his clients with the highest quality work as well as satisfying his quest for learning.
Heather McDonald
Creative Director
Heather has a BA in History and Graphic Design with a minor in French. She has been in the business of design for over 15 years. Her strong conceptual skills provide her with the tools to distill the essence of a product or company in a unique way. Research and a thorough understanding of each company’s positioning help her make the right decisions for them and their brand. Whether it’s creating brand systems, designing for packaging, print collateral or web design, Heather understands the requirements of each medium and ensures that attractive, clear communication is always maintained. Heather also realizes the importance of the creative process and the maintenance required to adhere to a production schedule. In keeping with that realization, she has managed teams of designers, writers, illustrators, photographers and vendors.
Karen Tarapata
Creative Copywriter
Karen came to copywriting through graphic design and instructional design. At the University of Michigan, she got a B.F.A in Painting and Printmaking, then studied Advertising at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and worked at Cato Johnson, now part of Young & Rubicam. She received a M.S. in Instructional and Performance Technology in 1996 through the groundbreaking distance learning program at Boise State University, then turned to focus to creating simple clear communications for web and print, writing for companies in healthcare, lifestyle and technology.
